Exhibitions
I place my work in a variety of galleries, but only briefly, so the only certainty is that they're available for inspection at my workshop, and at Theatr Clwyd, Mold, in the autumn. Contact me to find out what's available. I will take a commission if it's a bird that interests me. I've been fortunate enough to have my work profiled in a variety of media (in Woodworking magazine amongst others, on BBC television and on radio) but it's not always easy to reach like-minded people. However, RSPB events and wood fairs have proved particularly fertile ground. I'll list these as they come up.
I enjoy addressing a variety of groups on woodcarving and birds, a talk which includes, as well as my work, the American decoy tradition, Harold Gill the Dee wildfowler, Tunnicliffe the painter, and the bird poems of R.S. Thomas. So it's a talk with a strong North Wales emphasis.
My carvings range in price from £95 to £300.
